Wedding Cake Charms
Revive a Victorian tradition with these wedding cake charms!
Attached to white pulling ribbon, each of six sterling silver charms brings a loving spell to your bridesmaids and foretells their future.
The higlight second only to the tossing of the bouquet is the "ribbon pull." During this exciting event the Bride chooses a number of single young ladies just before the wedding cake is cut, and each chooses a ribbon to pull from the cake.
This tradition has now become a very fun activity at the bridal shower cake cutting too!
Each ribbon is attached to a tiny trinket, which traditionally has a meaning for the lady who gets it. The moment of the actual pulling is exciting, and allows for lots of fun when they see who pulled which trinket.
The trinkets are inserted and hidden in the base of the cake before frosting (circling the cake) and the ribbons attached to them hang loose outside the cake.
